Attention PVAMU Class of 1973

Our class will participate in university activities throughout 2023. The most significant activity
will be a presentation of our class gift – A Class Endowment – to the University President at the
football halftime for Homecoming, 2023.

At this point in our planning and for us to accept monetary gifts, we have completed the
required actions to register “The Class of 73” as a valid alumni organization within the PVAMU
National Alumni Association. We are hopeful you will support this venture and specify your
contribution on the attached Pledge Form.

The Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU) Class of 1973 will celebrate its 50th year Golden Anniversary
in 2023. This will be an extremely exciting historic and memorable occasion. Equally important, PVAMU
has a proud tradition of producing top-quality graduates that are productive and have a positive impact on
society at large. The Class of 1973 has truly met the challenge to represent the university with class in a
plethora of significant endeavors and career fields across the nation and abroad. 

Our class goal is $500,000 over a 2 year period. Please select your preferred payment option below to
support this benevolent endeavor for the benefit of PVAMU students and the university at large. We are
currently well below our goal and need the support of every class member.

Option 1
Donate $1973.00 Annually
One-time payment $1973.00 or Monthly $165.00     Quarterly $658.00     Semi-annually $986.00

own process to achieve the goal immediately or over a 1 year period. 

Option 2
 Class Pledge $1973 - Two year window to complete the $1973.00 pledge.
 Monthly $82.20     Quarterly $247.00     Semi-annually $493 25.

The Class of 1973 is planning fundraising activities that include the Souvenir Booklet Ads, a cruise out of
Galveston, nail and groom raffle, All-White Gala, and of course the banquet during homecoming week.
We need classmate participation ‘now’ because we have little time before the August 31,2023 deadline if
we choose Option1 to reach our Class of 1973 goal. However, we ask that everyone (classmates) get
actively involved in the other options to meet the 2 year goal.
